No CNG/LPG variant & Automatic Variant available in Grand i10
The i10 Grand is available
in 8 variants - 4 petrol and 4 diesel :
- Era (entry-level)
- Magna
- Sportz
- Asta (top-end)
Two options are available
in terms of engines :
- 1.2L Kappa Dual VTVT Petrol
- 1.1L 2nd Gen U2 CRDi
Diesel
Pricing :
Obviously the Grand i10 is costlier than the regular i10, but surprisingly it costs only 20grands more vis-a-vis the same variant of previous i10
So what you get is a bigger and more powerful i10 with lot more features and style for a reasonable hike in price which is certainly not a bad deal.

Diesel
The new i10 gets a brand
new diesel motor. This is the 2nd generation diesel engine developed by
Hyundai. The old i10 has the 1.1L
iRDE2 4-cyl 12valves SOHC (single overhead camshaft) while the new i10 grand
gets 1.1L U2 CRDi 3-cyl 12valves DOHC (double overhead camshaft)
If you compare the two
diesel engines you'll notice that the new diesel engine has only 3-cylinders as
compared to the 4-cylinders in the older one. But the new 3-cyl diesel enigne
is much more powerful and has loads of torque more with 71PS and 16.3kgm as
compared to 69PS and just 10.1kgm of torque in the old diesel motor
