Tata Motors Receives Order Of Over 5000 Buses From STU’s

Tata Motors is the largest domestic commercial vehicles manufacturing company in the country. The company recently announced having received orders of over 5,000 buses from 25 State / City Transport Undertakings across the country. The orders from various STU / City Transport providers represents a noticeable shift towards adopting new technology, safety, comfort features and connected IT-enabled buses. Tata Motors will also support these STU’s to make certain the technology benefits are rapidly realized.

Some of the orders given require a fully equipped IT enabled bus, few of the features of these buses include GPS Enabled Intelligence transport System, CCTV Cameras, On Board WiFi, Smart Multi Mode acting, etc. While others require a comfortable and safety wagon whose features includes Air Conditioning and Heating system, Lower NVH System, Automatic Transmission setup, etc.
