Tata Nano is now available as Nano CNG emax
One more CNG small car makes an entry into the crowded A-segment, this time its the world famous Tata Nano. Much anticipated to boost the dismal sales of its petrol variant, the Nano CNG looks promising on paper. Will it be successful in its conquest?
The Nano was expected to outclass all its competitors in terms of sales including the Maruti Suzuki 800 & Alto, but the sales charts narrates the opposite story. Alto (K10 & 800) continues to outsell all the other small cars in the market and is only followed closely by Maruti's two gems, Swift and Swift Dzire and the affordable WagonR. All the 4 Maruti-Suzuki models combined, make up more than 60% of top-10 cars sold in India per month.
