Maruti Suzuki, Renault, Nissan, Tata Motors & Many Others To Hike Car Prices From January 2015
Almost all major car
manufacturers in India have decided to increase the prices of models on sale. The
hike in prices is anywhere between 2% to 5% depending on the company and the
model. The hike is mainly due to the rising input cost in production of the
vehicles.
Maruti Suzuki has
announced increase in prices of its models between 2 to 4 percent whereas arch
rival Hyundai has announced an increase of upto Rs 25,000 on all the models. French
car maker Renault has announced 2.5 percent increase in prices on all its
models while their Japanese partner Nissan has announced that they will
increase the prices upto Rs 18,000 on all their models.
Tata Motors, Mahindra and
GM India all have announced that there will be increase in price starting next
year 2015.
