Bajaj Pulsar 200 RS Launched At Rs 1.18 Lakhs
Bajaj Motorcycles launched the much awaited Pulsar 200 RS, the
fully-faired sibling of the naked Pulsar 200 NS in India today with price tag
of Rs 1,18,000 for the non-ABS version and Rs 1,30,000 for the ABS version, ex-showroom
Delhi.
Bajaj
announced that the 200 RS is the fastest Pulsar yet and has loads of additional
features and improvement over the 200 NS. The 200 RS gets first-in-segment dual
projector headlamps, high intensity crystal LED tail lamps and an option of ABS
package.
Powered
by the patented triple-spark fuel-injected 199.5cc engine, the 200 RS produces
24.5-hp@9,750 rpm of max power and 18.6-Nm@8,000 rpm of max torque. Compared to
the 200 NS there is an increase of 1-hp of power and 0.3-Nm of torque.
The
200 RS adds on 20kgs more weight than the 200 NS and has a bigger fuel tank of
13-litres compared to the 12-litres of 200 NS. Ground clearance drops by 12 mm
to 157 mm. The 200 RS has a shorter wheelbase of 1,355 mm compared to 200 NS
and is less wide and taller than 200 NS.
In
terms of price the 200 RS costs Rs 1,18,000 for the non-ABS version and Rs 1,30,000 for the ABS version compared to Rs
91,553 for the 200 NS, Rs 1,23,370 for the Honda CBR150R, Rs 1,17,000 for
the Yamaha R15 and Rs 1,70,000 for the KTM RC 200.
