Audi Launches A6 Matrix In India At Rs 49.5 Lakhs

Audi India today rolled out the new version of Audi A6, called as A6 Matrix. The car is upgraded with many new features to suit the taste of Indian customers. The facelifted version is comes with a new engine, new seven-speed S-tronic® transmission, Matrix LED headlights and an advanced infotainment system – all this at an exceptional price of INR 49,50,000 ex-showroom New Delhi and Mumbai. This is the sixth launch for Audi this year after the launch of the Audi R8 LMX, Audi RS 7 Sportback, Audi TT Coupé, Audi RS 6 Avant and the Audi Q3.

Design

The new product is designed for athleticism and elegance, the single frame grille at the front is wider, its six corners are more striking and the chrome struts looks even more elegant. The bumper is also redesigned. The five V-spoke design alloy wheels gives it a sporty look. Numerous components of aluminum and hot-shaped steel form the backbone of the systematic lightweight construction concept.

                         

The most prominent thing in the new design is the Matrix LED headlight technology. Audi bundles the Matrix LED headlights with front and rear dynamic turn indicators. A bundle of 19 light emitting diodes per headlight paired with four reflectors make up the high-beam light.

Engine

The new Audi A6 Matrix is available in 2.0L TDI, delivering 190 hp (140 kW), mated to the sleek seven-speed S tronic® transmission. The car propels from 0-100 kmph in just 8.4 seconds.

Drive line

The new model is equipped with enhanced driving dynamics. Audi drive select gives options for four driving modes to suit different Indian road conditions. Steering Mounted Paddle Shifters help in engaging drive with the new & powerful engine with the S tronic® transmission. Adaptive Air Suspension adjusts to varying road conditions as well as adapts to the driving modes of the Audi Drive Select.

Well-Finished Interior

The bold style of the exterior is echoed in the car’s spacious interior.  Seats are wrapped in high quality Milano leather in three colors - Black, Beige and brand new Nougat Brown and are electrically adjustable. The four zoned automatic air conditioning gives temperature preference to each passenger.

The product comes with the next generation modular infotainment platform. With this, the customer gets a host of new functionalities like the advanced MMI system offers a remote control for the convenience of the rear seat passenger while the car is surrounded with Bose music system.

Safety

The new Audi A6 Matrix comes with eight airbags, two of which are dedicated rear side airbags.
