Maruti Suzuki Launches The All New Baleno At Rs 4.99 Lakhs
Maruti Suzuki always enhances its reputation more and more by launching quality products in the automotive industry which precisely caters the needs of the majority of Indian customers. Recently, to add another star to its reputation the company launched the all new Baleno in the premium hatchback segment that would be competing with the likes of Hyundai i20 elite, Honda Jazz and Volkswagen Polo.
The Baleno is the first car launched by Maruti Suzuki in the premium hatchback segment and by the looks it makes a statement of its own. The bold new front grille, the daytime running led’s, the projector head lamps and many more exciting new looks and on top of it the Maruti Suzuki tag that further enhances its reputation, all these make it a complete all round package for the Indian customers and certainly the car is here to make a mark in this segment.
The new Baleno comes in two engine options, the 1.2L VVT Petrol Engine that produces 84.3 PS of power along with 115 Nm of torque and the other engine is the all time favourite 1.3L DDiS turbocharged diesel engine that produces a power of 75 PS and 190 Nm of torque. The car is available in manual as well as automatic (CVT) transmission options that adds even more variety to the vehicle. As far as the mileage of the vehicle goes the petrol variant of the Baleno delivers 21.4km/l and the diesel variant delivers 27.3 km/l.
The interiors of the car are also enhanced but are based on the same platform as the Swift and the S-Cross. The dashboard comes in a premium black and silver finish with a multi-infotainment touchscreen display and steering mounted controls. Baleno comes with Apple CarPlay, an initiative in car entertainment system from the global leader of smartphones. MSI will be the first OEM in India to offer Apple CarPlay. The models also comes with various features including multi-information speedometer and UV reduction glasses, as first in class features, As far as the safety features are concerned all the variants come standard with ABS, EBD and dual front airbags.
The new Baleno is priced quite competitively and the petrol variant ranges between 4.99 lakhs and 7.01 lakhs while the diesel trim is between 6.16 lakhs and 8.11 lakhs. The car would be sold exclusively through the company’s new retail outlets, NEXA.
