Nissan And Skoda Announce Price Increase From January 2016
Both the companies are a reputed and much established automotive brand in the country and have been constantly catering to the requirements of the Indian consumers by delivering high quality products over the time.
Nissan Group of India recently, announced a price increase across its Nissan and Datsun range of models to minimise the impact of escalating input costs. The prices of all Nissan and Datsun models in the country will rise by upto 3%, and will be effective January 2016. As stated by Mr.Arun Malhotra Managing Director, Nissan Motor India Pvt Ltd the price increase in the vehicles is to offset offset input costs. The revision of prices will soften the negative impact and help the company stay competitive in the industry.
In accordance, Skoda also announced a revised pricing across its entire model range. The increase will vary from 2% to 3% across the entire product portfolio. The new prices effective from January 1st 2016, are in line with increasing input cost and changing market conditions. The price increase will translate into an increase of approximately INR 14,000 to INR 50,000 depending on the model and the variant.
