Meet Tata Tiago - The Re-branded Tata Zica

Mumbai, 22nd February 2016: After deciding to rename its upcoming all new compact hatchback Zica (which coincidentally shared its name with the deadly Zika virus) Tata Motors decided to crowd-source the new name. It launched a social media campaign #Fantastico to involve the common people in India to suggest a cool new name for the Zica.

After 37,000 of unique entries, Tata Motors shortlisted three names Tiago, Civet and Adore. These three names were put up for voting to the social media audience and the name Tiago got the highest number of votes which then became the new name for Zica. Mr. Libi Thomas was declared the lucky winner of the #Fantastico campaign.
