Get Ready For The 3rd Season Of The Tata Prima T1 Truck Championship

Mumbai, 3rd March 2016: Tata Motors today announced the launch of the third season of India's first and only truck racing championship - the Tata Prima T1 Truck Racing Championship 2016. The race will be held on 19th and 20th March at the Budd International Circuit, Greater Noida. 

For the first time this season there will be a separate race between 12 Indian truck drivers groomed by Tata Motors along with the regular 6 independent teams race involving internationally acclaimed truck racing drivers.

The race involving 12 Indian truck drivers will be separate from the race involving international truck racing drivers. These 12 Indian regular truck drivers went through an extensive training program specially conducted by Tata Motors. They initially started with 140 truck drivers from all parts of India and filtered out 12 best for the final race.

Tata Motors aims to develop the lifestyle of the regular truck drivers in India by giving truck driving an aspirational value and developing them into a better truck drivers.
