Yamaha Launches Its Smart Street Bike, The Saluto RX At Rs.46,400
Yamaha Motors is gradually becoming one of the best selling brands in the two-wheeler automotive market of India. The company has vehicles to offer in every segment, be it the sporty segment, the scooter segment or the youthful yet performance oriented mid range motorcycle segment.
However, the company didn’t had any bike for the most popular commuter segment until now. Yamaha recently, launched a new bike in the commuter segment, its latest entry level bike the Saluto RX in the Indian two wheeler Industry which is an affordable and smart street bike specially designed for the Indian Roads at a stunning price of Rs.46,400 (Ex-Showroom Delhi).

The Saluto RX offers an impressive mileage of 82kmpl, all this is due to Yamaha’s minimalistic approach that has reduced the weight of the bike to just 98 Kgs which has helped the bike to climb this impressive mileage figure. The Saluto RX mounts a newly developed 4-stroke 110cc, 2-valve single cylinder engine that agitates out 7.5PS of power and 8.5Nm of peak torque.
The bike is targeted towards young men who are looking for comfort and sporty looks with great efficiency at a very affordable price. Few key features of the Saluto RX includes an aggressive looking body design, Lightweight yet robust body, excellent dynamic ability, analog Instrument Cluster and to top it all, Yamaha’s Blue Core Technology which helps Increases combustion efficiency and reduces power loss of the vehicle. The bike will be offered in four colors which include the Matte Black, Breezy Blue, Inspiring Red and Gleaming Black.
The company is aiming to capture the Commuter Segment with this bike and the Saluto RX would be competing against the likes of the already popular Hero Splendor Series, Honda’s Dream Series and TVS’s Victor Series.
