VW India Commences Pre-Launch Bookings Of Ameo - Coming To Your City Soon

The compact segment is booming in the Indian car market. Be it SUV or sedan, everyone wants to feel special without spending huge amount of money. Recently, Honda revamped the styling of its popular model Amaze and gave it 'Amazing' interiors, which were the sore point of it since the launch. Albeit late to the party, VW wants a share of the pie by launching the Ameo and they seem to equip it rather well to face the existing heavy competition.

About the Roadshow

Prior to its launch, VW, Europe's leading car manufacturer, announced a 17-city roadshow for VW Ameo, their latest compact sedan which comes under 'made in India made for India' tagline. The roadshow is scheduled from May 12, 2016 to July 2, 2016 and promises to give the customers an opportunity to experience the car, explore its features and even book it across all dealerships.

An exclusive mobile application will be made available on Android and iOS from which prospective customers can access the details.

With the Ameo, we seek to amplify our Volkswagen India family and reach out to customers in the Tier II & III markets, offering them the best of Volkswagen. To digitize the customer interface and facilitate the bookings, we are also launching a mobile application for the benefit of interested customers."

What Is Special About Ameo?

Like Ford, it is very satisfying to see manufacturers giving paramount importance to safety and Ameo is no different. It come equipped with dual airbags and ABS as standard across all variants. VW is also boasting about first in class features like cruise control and rain sensing wipers along with static cornering lights to give convenience to its driver and passengers. It will come with familiar 1.2-litre 3-cylinder MPI petrol and 1.5-litre 4-cylinder TDI diesel engines.
