Datsun redi-GO Boosts Nissan Sales In Q2 FY17 | July '16 Sales Up 126%
New Delhi, 1st August 2016: Nissan Motor Corporation today reported a domestic sales of 6,418 vehicles in the month July 2016 versus 2,841 units a year ago in July 2015. The Japanese car maker reported growth in sales of 126% in July 2016, compared to the same month last year. The massive boost in sales has been largely due to the high initial demand for the Datsun redi-GO while other Nissan models still continue to struggle.
Commenting on the company’s performance, Arun Malhotra, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India Pvt Ltd, said, "Our sales have been gaining momentum over the past few months and the trend has been encouraging. The customers have responded positively to the new Datsun redi-GO".
