2017 Nissan Terrano launched in India at ₹9.99 lakhs
New Delhi, 27th March 2017: Nissan India today launched an updated version of its premium compact SUV - Terrano. The face-lifted 2017 Terrano comes with as many as 22 new features/updates. Price for the new Terrano starts at ₹9.99 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The petrol and diesel engines powering the Terrano remain the same. In terms of transmission, the Terrano petrol and diesel (85 PS) is available in 5-speed manual transmission while the diesel (110 PS) is available in 6-speed manual or a 6-speed AMT option.
New features in the Terrano include:
- Dual-tone interior trim
- Cruise control
- 7.0-inch touchscreen navigation system
- Steering mounted audio/phone controls
- One-touch lane change indicator
- Anti-pinch driver side window
- New steering wheel design
- Electrically retractable outside mirrors
- ESP - Electronic Stability Program
2017 Terrano is avaiable in the following 3 engine options:
Nissan has also reduced the number of variants for Terrano. It now comes in only five variants - one petrol and four diesel - as opposed to seven variants back in 2013.
Compared to its peers the Terrano is little expensive. Entry-level petrol versions of Renault Duster, Honda BR-V and Hyundai Creta are significantly cheaper than entry-level petrol variant of Terrano. Same is the case with the diesel variants as shown in the table below.
