Rockford Fosgate India Unveils Demo Car Fitted with DSR1

The DSR1 is an 8-channel Interactive Signal Processor with Integrated iDatalink Maestro Module.

Rockford Fosgate, a leading global brand in high-performance car audio systems, at a press conference in Mumbai unveiled a demonstration vehicle fitted throughout with their premium car audio components. The impressive demonstration vehicle, a TATA Nexon was designed and installed completely in India. The vehicle is fitted with Rockford Fosgate's latest product, the DSR1, a powerful class-leading audio processor, and throughout boasts a range of Rockford's high-end audio components, comprising of Power Series T400X4ad and T500X1BDCP Amplifiers, T1650-S 6.5'' Power Series component Speakers and multiple Punch Series P3SD4-12 - 12'' subwoofers.

The installation has retained the factory radio by utilizing the Rockford Fosgate DSR1 processor, demonstrating how a CANBUS connected factory radio can be made to sound as good as a professional recording studio. The DSR1 is the first real solution for replacing the factory amplifier and act as a seamless bridge between factory equipment and aftermarket amplifiers and speakers in vehicles where swapping out the factory radio is next to impossible.

Co-developed with ADS, the DSR1 combines a full-featured 360 digital signal processor with a flashable iData link Maestro integration module. The DSR1 can be used out-of-the-box with high or low-level input or with a quick flash download add vehicle specific firmware to enable integration without the loss of factory equipped controls and features. Once connected, complete control of the sound profile can be adjusted using the proprietary Rockford Fosgate Perfect Tune software on any Apple or Android device.
